1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using DokiMail ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service.
2. Description of Service
DokiMail provides an email verification API service that allows users to validate email addresses through SMTP protocol checks. The service includes:
- Single email verification via API
- Batch email verification
- Real-time verification status
- Dashboard analytics and reporting
- API key management
3. Account Registration
To use the Service, you must:
- Provide accurate and complete registration information
- Maintain the security of your account credentials
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Not share your API keys with unauthorized parties
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access
You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
4. Acceptable Use Policy
You agree NOT to use the Service to:
- Verify email addresses for the purpose of sending spam or unsolicited emails
- Harvest email addresses for malicious purposes
- Attempt to bypass rate limits or abuse the API
- Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
- Violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Infringe on intellectual property rights
- Engage in any activity that could harm our reputation
5. API Usage and Rate Limits
API usage is subject to rate limits based on your subscription plan:
- Free Plan: 100 verifications per month
- Basic Plan: 5,000 verifications per month
- Pro Plan: 50,000 verifications per month
- Enterprise Plan: Custom limits
Exceeding rate limits may result in temporary suspension or additional charges.
6. Subscription and Billing
6.1 Payment
Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. All payments are processed securely through Stripe.
6.2 Refunds
Refunds may be provided within 14 days of purchase if you have not exceeded 10% of your plan's verification limit. Contact support for refund requests.
6.3 Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
7. Service Availability
We strive to maintain 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance will be announced in advance when possible. We are not liable for any downtime or service interruptions.
8. Accuracy of Verification
While we strive for high accuracy, email verification results are provided "as is" without warranty of 100% accuracy. Factors outside our control (temporary mail server issues, greylisting, etc.) may affect results. We recommend implementing your own validation logic for critical applications.
9. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its original content, features, and functionality, is owned by DokiMail and protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
10. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DOKIMAIL SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR USE, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE SERVICE.
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless DokiMail and its affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.
12. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, for any violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately.
13. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or through the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
14. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which the company is registered, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
